it was okay, but!!!!!
Housekeeping was poor. No refill of mini bar, no refill of coffee bar. No replacement of used (plastic) classes.

Internet
The hotel and my stay was excellent, the only suggestion is your internet service should be free. Raise the price of the room if necessary but I hate to pay for internet service when I check into a hotel. In the future this is something that would direct me to use a different hotel. It just make the hotel seem cheap that your hitting us up for additional fee's on something all business travelers use. Very enjoyable stay
Everything was very good about this hotel for this stay. The room was clean, everything worked, the air conditioning was efficient and quiet, the bathroom was clean. The front desk called a taxi for me every day, and it came on time. The food was good. The service in the bar was quite pleasant, but a little slow. I think they are understaffed a little bit. The location is a block from the train station, so it is easy to get to, but still very quiet. Overall - a very good experience. Everything was very good about this hotel for this stay. I don't agree your Front's action to handle room occupancy, by moving out the guest's stuff out from the room without informing the guset priorly. This gesture seems so very rude to guset's feeling.

I stayed at the Golden Tulip last week for 4 nights. I was over visiting in preparation to move to Holland in August. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful and I had everything I needed. My room was cleaned every day and I was provided with fresh towels each time. I will definately be using the hotel again in the future and will recommend it to all my friends and family when they come to visit. I stayed at the Golden Tulip last week for 4 nights. The Leiden Golden Tulip is an Excellant Hotel
We were particularly impressed with your dining room. The service was very good and the food was execellant. The desk personnel were also very helpful.

Golden Tulip Leiden
We checked in to the Golden Tulip in Leiden on Sat 22 May. The standard room did not seem to have been prepared well - the main bulb in the bathroom was out (leaving a dark an univiting space around the shower) and there was only a small amount of toilet paper left. I asked reception to replace the bulb and we waited for a much needed shower - after an hour I asked again and then I went in person to recption but they were overwhelmed by incoming guests and the bulb was not replaced until after we had left for the evening. The bath towels were of a laughable size and quality (smaller than hand towels in US hotels) On the plus side the bar was excellent and the bar staff very helpful. I will not be returning.
